Guess the Word: How AI Reads a Sentence
猜下一个词，猜被挖掉的词，再圈出帮你猜到的词。这就是今天 AI 读句子的方法。
Guess the next word, guess a hidden word, then circle the words that helped. That is how today’s AI reads a sentence.
我说“Twinkle, twinkle, little……”，你马上知道下一个词。再难一点：把一句话中间挖掉一个词，你能猜出来吗？是什么帮你猜对的？
I say “Twinkle, twinkle, little…” and you know the next word right away. Harder: I hide a word in the middle of a sentence. Can you guess it? What helped you?
孩子做什么What kids do
- 接龙：句子一个词一个词地出现，每个词出现之前全班举手猜。Next word: the sentence appears one word at a time, and the class guesses before each word.
- 挖空：先只给空格前后两个词，猜不出再给整句，再给前一句或出处。Fill the blank: first only the two words on each side, then the whole sentence, then the sentence before it or where it comes from.
- 圈出帮你猜到的词：全班投票，被点得越多颜色越深。这就是 attention。Circle the words that helped: the class votes, and the more votes a word gets, the darker it turns. That is attention.
- 同一个词、不同意思：bat（蝙蝠 / 球棒）、light（光 / 轻），是哪个词告诉你的？Same word, different meaning: bat (the animal or the stick), light (bright or not heavy). Which word told you?
- 学习单背面：每人出 3 道挖空题，带回家考家长。On the back of the worksheet: each kid writes 3 fill-the-blank puzzles to test a parent at home.
要点Key idea
上下文越多越好猜，上下文还会改变答案。AI 训练时就在做海量这样的题：GPT 练接下一个词，BERT 练挖空。
More context makes guessing easier, and context can change the answer. AI trains on huge numbers of these puzzles: GPT practices the next word, BERT practices filling the blank.
和 AI 的关系Where AI comes in
attention 是做题的方法：猜这个空时，句子里每个词该“看”多少。孩子投票最多的词，就是 attention 最高的词。
Attention is the method: when guessing a blank, how much should each word in the sentence be looked at? The words the kids voted for most have the highest attention.
